UF Addresses Miami’s Future Food Security

Dr. Diane Rowland, Crop Physiologist with the UF Agronomy Department and Associate Professor at University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, served as a panelist for the Israel Florida collaboration on innovative crop protection solutions.  The seminar was co-sponsored by Holland & Knight and the Consulate General of Israel in Miami on May 18.  She discussed how innovations in the field of agricultural technologies shapes the future for food security in Miami and the state.
