Gators for Higher Education Highlights UF’s Emerging Pathogen Institute’s Research

Dr. Glenn Morris, M.D., M.P.H., a professor of medicine and the director of UF’s Emerging Pathogens Institute, visited UF Coral Gables on Friday, September 29 to share his research findings with UF alumni and friends. University of Florida will lead a collaborative research program with a $10 million grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to support efforts to protect Americans from Zika virus infection and associated adverse health outcomes. This funding and collaboration will bring beneficial research findings and implementation to Miami and the next generation of Americans.
