UF Plans For Driverless Cars

The University of Florida recently announced a partnership between the City of Gainesville and the Florida Department of Transportation to test driverless cars in Gainesville starting as early as Fall 2017.

The goal is to test how driverless cars are impacted by pedestrians, bicyclists, and traffic. The driverless cars will be seen on Northwest 13th Street and West University Avenue. To read more about UF’s collaboration click here.
