Gator Nation News – Miami-Dade County

This Gator Nation News is for you, Miami-Dade County.

With more than 20,000 alumni and 4,000 students hailing from South Florida, the University of Florida is proud to present the Gator Nation News, Miami-Dade edition.

Having recently opened UF Coral Gables to better serve our alumni, students, families and friends in South Florida, we also now bring to you events, news and information that directly impact you.

As you know, the University of Florida’s impact has long been felt across the state. And while geographically Miami-Dade County and Gainesville are distant neighbors, we are linked through our alumni, students, research, programs, partnerships, and shared aspirations.

This Miami-Dade edition along with the services offered at UF Coral Gables, furthers our commitment to South Florida. Remember to stop by UF Coral Gables located at 1 Alhambra Plaza to reconnect with The Gator Nation.

While not a site intended for instruction, UF Coral Gables, which houses enrollment management and advancement staff, and the Lastinger Center for Learning, creates efficiencies and consolidates staff already located in Miami. This operation, along with existing programs and research activities in South Florida and the Keys, broadens our ability to impact the lives of the state’s citizens and beyond.

We hope that this focused news will help you connect and reconnect with the university.
